Status: In Progress

The Village Trustees chose to move forward with the streetscape redesign elements proposed in the Vital Village Plan by applying for a grant through the Agency of Transportation to conduct a Scoping Study, which was awarded in 2020. Currently underway, this scoping study looks at improvements that could be made to key blocks of Main and Depot Street as originally outlined in the Vital Village Master Plan. When complete, this scoping study will help the community understand the budgeting requirements to implement streetscape improvements, and position the Village to access the state and federal grants necessary to approach the construction phase.
