Ordinance Change – 7/26/2022

The Village of Enosburg (“the Village”) Trustees, at their July 26, 2022, meeting, moved to adopt a change to the Ordinance Amendment Section 808, sub section C ii.   The reason for the change is to allow timely coordination with the vendors and the Harvest Fest.  With a 30-day lead time by the Village it was not allowing the Department of Liquor and Control, or the Town of Enosburgh the time to complete licensing for the event, which are required by law.  The motion is to move the file date with the Village to 7 days.

Section 808, sub section C ii

The Applicant shall submit an application for a permit on a form provided by the Village Manager’s office.  Such application shall contain; (a) the name, address, and phone number of each vendor scheduled to appear at the event; (b) the hour, date and estimated duration of the event; (c) the location within the park where the event will take place; (d) proposed arrangements to : insure the safety of the public and the vendors covered under the permit, prevent damage to public and private property; (e) a copy of the applications submitted to the Vermont Department of Liquor Control for the tasting event; and (f) a copy of the permit issued by the Department  for the event.  The application and supporting documents shall be filed with the Village Manager not less than 7 days prior to the commencement date of the Harvest Festival.

Looking for Volunteers

WindowDressers is a non profit that helps volunteer groups across VT, NH, and ME to organize community builds where people are able to get affordable, insulating window inserts, including free inserts for low income families. We already have a bunch of residents signed up, and now we need help measuring everyone’s windows. If you are interested in helping with this process, which is flexible in its time commitment, please email or call Marlena Valenta at mvalenta@nrpcvt.com or 802.393.5055. We will also need volunteers during the actual build, which is November 17th-23rd and will be taking place at our beautiful Enosburg Opera House. If you’re interested in getting inserts or just want to learn more about the organization, feel free to contact Marlena or go to their website at windowdressers.org.

Online Payments

  • As a convenience for our customers, the Village of Enosburg Falls has chosen Invoice Cloud to process credit card, debit card, and E-Check payments on your behalf. A direct link to Invoice Cloud can be accessed by clicking the yellow “Pay Utility Bill” button at the top right of this page. This will redirect you to Invoice Cloud’s website.
    • In an effort to improve customer service, and provide greater access to the convenience of online payments, the transaction threshold for credit card/debit card payments has been increased to $300 per transaction with no increase in applicable convenience fees.

Warning: The Village of Enosburg Falls Electric Department does NOT recommend using Doxo for Bill Pay

It has come to our attention that many utility customers have been encouraged to use Doxo, a third-party online bill payment service. Doxo is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Village of Enosburg Falls Electric Department. Despite showing familiar logos, Doxo is not an authorized payment service.

If you choose to use a payment processing vendor other than Invoice Cloud, you choose to do so at your own risk. The Village will not be responsible for any fees associated with the use of payment processing vendors including any reoccurring charges other sites may choose to bill you.

Customers should be aware that payments via a different payment processing vendor may not be immediate and in some cases it may take 3-10 business days or more to be delivered and posted to your account with the village. This could result in late payments and disconnection of your services.
